Supervisor: Sales Manager
Job Function: Responsible for assisting Sr. Sales Executive with selling company products and services to end users, brokers and resellers
Responsibilities:
Adhere to sales processes per company guidelines, including, but not limited to: contacting current and prospective customers to discuss products, services, and offer quotes; qualify potential customers; follow-up on order cycle (references, parts, inventory, purchase order numbers); follow-up with customers after product delivery.
- Gather information that will help build a business relationship with customer
- Generate new business while nurturing and maintaining existing customer relationships
- Initiate the sales process by prospecting, scheduling appointments, making presentations, understanding business needs, follow-ups, closing sales, and obtaining referrals
- Utilize resources including but not limited to email, phone, Skype, and WebEx to interact with customers on a daily basis
- Calculate and tender quotations and proposals to new and existing customers
- Develop and maintain customer relationships within a defined territory; identify and anticipate customer needs, think creatively and critically to solve problems
- Assist the assigned Sr. Sales Executive to close opportunities and assist during or following a sales presentation, quote or proposal
- Work closely with the assigned Sr. Sales Executive to generate quotes / proposals, process orders, perform follow ups and obtain referrals
- Work with management to develop a future sales plan for additional services that will further benefit your customer base
- Attend regularly scheduled sales and product trainings in house
Required Skills:
- A minimum or two years’ experience in professional sales, business development, or managing customer relations
- High school diploma required; college degree a plus but not required with equivalent sales or technical field experience
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently with minimal direct supervision
- Strong speaking and interpersonal skills
- Strong situational leadership skills, closing and follow-up abilities
- Analytical, decision-making and management skills
